King's Academy of Fine Arts (KAFA) and Little Maestros

Also known as KAFA, King's Academy of Fine Arts is a non-profit weekday program of King's Grant Presbyterian Church. The Academy will bring children together with experienced teachers who are committed to teaching children through Fine Arts and is designed to provide children with learning experiences through Fine Arts during their early years. Each day, students will explore music, visual art and dance/creative movement.

Ages: Children, 30 months to 5 years of age are welcome to enroll.
 
Class Sizes: There is a maximum of eight students per class and students may attend one or two morning sessions per week. Children will be grouped according to age and maturity.
 
Class Scedule:

Classes are 45 minutes in length and are held from September through May on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00– 11:30 a. m. There are up to 3 rotating classes 45 minutes each in length. A 15 minute snack time occurs after the second class.

Class I 9:00 - 9:45

Class II 9:45 - 10:30 Snack Break 10:30 - 10:45

Class III 10:45 - 11:30

 
Tuition: $85 monthly to attend 1 day a week and $170 monthly to attend 2 days a week. A non-refundable Art Supply fee of $75 (for 1 day a week attendance) or $100 (for 2 days a week attendance) is required to hold space for a child.

Other Children Programs

  • Little Maestros

The 40 minute class is designed to bring the joy of music and movement to 18 month to 3 years old and their caregivers, while developing musical skills. Classes are held at King's Grant Presbyterian Church, and enrollment is limited to 8 participants and their caregivers.

Together adult and child explore music through singing, focused listening, moving, echoing rhythmic and melodic patterns, and playing simple instruments. 

There are three six-week sessions a year, with activities occurring on Wednesdays from 9:55-10:35 AM.
