Special Programs

Opportunities to Worship, learn and get involved don’t just happen on Sunday! Learn more about other special programs KGPC has to offer either within our walls or through partner organizations.

  • Bethlehem Walk

Imagine the tiny village of Bethlehem 2000 years ago ...register your family with the census taker at the gate, walk the crowded streets, visit the bustling marketplace and talk with the vendors busy in their shops. Hear a story at the well, worship with the Rabbi in the Synagogue, but beware of the Roman soldiers who patrol the streets to keep order in this seemingly insignificant Judean town. See the shepherds watching their flocks under the winter sky.

Listen to the villagers talking in hushed voices about seeing angels and the birth of a very special baby. Keep your eyes and ears open to whatever miracles may occur. But don't plan to stay overnight - the Inn is full.

It isn't a play. It isn't a pageant. It is encountering Christ and the mystery of Christmas the way we believe it all began. And it’s a free gift from KGPC to the community.

Want to be a part of the Walk?
Sign-up sheets are posted in the Connection Point. There’s a job for you...yes, YOU...you could be one of the people preparing for telling the story (construction, set design, making soup, baking cookies), one of the people in costume in the story (speaking and non-
speaking parts available), or one of the people behind the scenes (costumes, kitchen helper, fellowship hall greeter, clean-up crew). Don’t miss being a part of telling the most important story ever told. Contact us at info@kgpc.org to let us know if you're interested or if you have any questions!

  • CHOW

CHOW, or CHurch On Wednesday, is an opportunity to come together for food, fellowship and learning in the middle of the week. Dinner for all is at 5:30 pm with classes for all ages starting at 6:15 pm. If you’d like to sign up, please call the church office or visit our Connection Point - a gathering place for fellowship (and fresh coffee!) between services on Sundays near the Sanctuary. Dinner is $4 per person (family maximum of $15).
