Amos: Worship Leads to Justice and Righteousness Amos 5:10-24 Israel has been blessed by God with wealth and a special relationship with the Divine. This blessing was intended to be shared with others through acts of mercy and justice for the poor and needy. True worship isn’t about empty rituals but a way of life that establishes justice and righteousness. Because of their spiritual poverty and hypocrisy, God’s justice and righteousness will bring them punishment. Does our worship contain empty rituals or sincere hearts? How do we know?
