Grow in Your Relationship with God at KGPC

King’s Grant Presbyterian Church is a place where you will find a place to belong, grow in your faith, discover ways to shine God’s light in the world, and share God’s love with others. Pastor Chris walks you through some of the ways that KGPC will be a blessing to you.

Your First Visit

When you come to King’s Grant Presbyterian, we want you to be comfortable and know you’re coming into a place that is for you. On this page you’ll find everything you need to know about what you can expect when you come to King’s Grant.

Enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea available in the hallway outside of the Sanctuary. Take it into worship and stay later for a second cup and fellowship with others.

There are several parking lots located in the front, to the side and at the back of the church.

Enter through the main sanctuary doors off of Little Neck Road where you will be greeted by our welcome team.

Yes, there are three ramp entrances—at the church office, at the side door by the preschool, and to the Fellowship Hall.

KGPC has a wide umbrella and welcomes everyone. We have people who identify as conservative and liberal, democrat and republican, literal biblical interpretation and contextual interpretation, life-long Christians and brand new ones. So whatever your church experience or lack thereof, whatever your beliefs are, whatever stage of life you are in, you will find a home here.

At our worship services, you will see casual clothes and business attire. Dress in what is comfortable for you.

Our services last about an hour, are filled with great music, and include an inspiring message from the Bible by our pastor.

No matter who you are, what you’ve done, where your church membership is, how old you are, or what you believe, you are invited by Jesus to participate in communion which is held the first Sunday of every month. Jesus welcomed everyone and so do we.

All children are welcome to attend the entire worship service with their families. We offer nursery care and an amazing faith formation program during worship as well.

We offer a nursery for our children newborn to 36 months from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Children three years old through fifth grade are welcome to attend worship with their families for the first 15 minutes, and then walk as a group to the Fellowship Hall for King’s Kids- an engaging, energetic, faith formation experience.

Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is welcome to be baptized. Baptism is available for infants, children, youth, and adults as a sign and seal of God’s love and claim upon our lives, everyone is welcome to be baptized.

Membership is open to all who claim Jesus Christ as their Savior. You may indicate your interest in membership through our weekly Connect Card in worship, by sending an email to the church office, or by letting the pastor know. The pastor will schedule a time to meet with you to discuss your interest and set a date for joining the church.
