What are Life Groups?
Intentional relationships are essential if we want to become more like Jesus and have a sense of belonging. Starting in King's Kids and Student Ministries we have the belief that community is important by belonging to a LIFE Group. These small groups help us sharpen our love for God and people through studying the Bible, serving others, and building lasting friendships.
Here at KGPC, we believe that LIFE Groups are
“the heartbeat of our church.”
LIFE GROUP Core Values
At KGPC, we call every small group community a LIFE group for a reason. Each letter of the word LIFE represents a core value that we believe each group should uphold.
Love God and love one another
Impact others in a positive light
Find your community
FIND A LIFE GROUP.
In Person and Online
Join us as we embark on a 8-week journey to encounter Jesus using the first season of the series “The Chosen,” the first ever crowd-funded, multi-season series about the life of Christ and the unlikely people whose lives he turned upside down. You will be invited to watch each episode and join in a small group as we gain a broader understanding of the probable context and backstory of many biblical characters.
Wednesdays at 7am in the Fellowship Hall
Join us for a hot, homemade breakfast with the men and women of the church. We engage in a brief discussion of the Bible and prayer.
Mondays at 12pm at The Connection Point at KGPC
Bring your own lunch and enjoy fellowship in the Connections Point. This is a weekly gathering of adults of all ages who share lunch, prayers, and time for devotion. This group also takes time to write cards to members of our congregation that we have missed!
Mondays at 7pm in the Parlor
Ladies Summer Bible Study
Join us this summer for a seven-week study that unpacks the wisdom of the Book of James so that we might apply our faith to our daily lives. Books are $5 and available at the Church Office. RSVP to Pat Bowling at [email protected]
Thursdays at 8:30am in The Pavilion
This monthly men’s group gathers to pray and fellowship over Hardees biscuits in the Pavilion by the playground.
