September 7, 2025: The Power of God’s Words (Welcome Sunday/Communion)

Genesis 1:1-3, John 1:1-5,14

God’s Word carries several meanings. Through God’s word the world was created. Through God’s Word made flesh, we are newly created. In God’s Word we read the history of the relationship between Creator and created as well as how God desires us to live. God’s words bring light and life. The serpent’s words brought death and alienation. Which words are shaping your life?
