VBS (Vacation Bible School)
An annual faith formation opportunity for children, usually in the second week of July. Kids learn formative faith stories, play games, and participate in meaningful mission work.
Welcome Weekend
Welcome Weekend is usually the second weekend in September and is a celebration of returning back to church from the summer months.
An annual event on our church lawn where we have a short service of blessing for the animals in our lives. We have blessed cats, dogs, and even guinea pigs!
Trunk or Treat is an opportunity for children to dress up in their Halloween costumes and visit decorated car trunks in our church parking lot for candy and other treats. Games, food, and other activities are also present at this event.
An annual event for our church community. We gather for an oyster and barbecue dinner and fellowship in October.
Lessons & Carols
A worship service of scripture and song that is a tradition that dates back to the early 19th century. This usually occurs the third Sunday of December.

Bethlehem Walk is an annual event where KGPC’s church campus is transformed into Bethlehem at the time of Jesus’ birth. This multi-sensory experience is unforgettable and will bring the true story of Christmas to life.
Parent’s Night Out
Parent’s Night Out is an opportunity for parents to enjoy a night away from their kids. Children are dropped off at the church while parents enjoy time alone. We usually hold this event close to Valentine’s Day.
